The Daffodil Society of Minnesota (DSM) wrapped up the 2024 domestic show schedule this weekend (May 4- May 5). Our long time host facility at Bachman’s Garden Center in Minneapolis was, as always, so welcoming and helpful. The climate controlled Heritage Room is where we stage our show. Our blooms enjoyed the 63 degree temperature in the room!
This year, we had 13 exhibitors with 316 entries and 681 stems. Minnesota weather being what it is, we had some early spring warm weather, followed by cooler weather and rain. We did refrigerate some of our early blooms. We all will have some flowers blooming today or tomorrow that would have been great show entries, but we now get to enjoy them.
